LivingRoom — User Manual
Throughout this manual, the app is called LivingRoom.
This manual is for the people who use LivingRoom every day: established sellers on Walmart, Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) and other marketplaces, and the staff who buy, receive, prepare and ship their stock - in their own warehouse or at a prep center. It explains, task by task, how to set up the app, buy and receive stock, follow it through warehouses and prep centers, sell on marketplaces and to your own customers, import your sales and settlements, and read the true profit of every sale. It describes the current version as it is built (see What's new in 2.0).
How to use this manual
- Start with Chapter 1 for the big picture, then Chapter 2 to install the app and activate your license.
- Each chapter is a set of tasks ("How to receive a purchase order"). Every task starts with when you need it, then gives short numbered steps.
- Words in bold are exactly what you see on the screen: buttons, tabs, menu items and page titles. A path such as Settings › Backup means: open Settings, then the Backup tab.
- Notes marked Tip save you time; notes marked Important protect your data or your money.
- Some tasks depend on your role (Admin, Manager, Purchaser, Receiving, Reports Only). The chapter says who can do what; Chapter 3 has the full list.
- The screenshots come from made-up companies: the app's Demo Company and two made-up companies of their own (made-up products, vendors and people). Your screens show your own data.
- Not sure what a word means? See the Glossary.
Getting help
Contact support at [email protected]. Chapter 11 answers the most common questions and explains what a support session is.
What's new in 2.0
Version 2.0 is the first release after 1.2.1. It adds customers and their orders with invoices and payments, vendor bills, available and reserved stock, transfers in transit, case packs, lot history, period close, WFS claims, un-kitting, ad spend in your profit, a phone companion and monthly plans - and everything listed on the pages of its earlier parts (data protection, the office server, lot tracking, background mode and more). 2.0 is installed fresh: it installs beside 1.2.1 as a separate program, with its own data folder, and does not open the data of 1.2.1. Read What's new in 2.0 for the full list.
